Colour blind weather

The Changes in BBC Weather Graphics

I’m red-green colour blind. Therefore, changes in brown and green are not the easiest things for me to see, particularly in detail on a moving shot.

Therefore I’m really not impressed with the BBC’s new Weather graphics. In fact, I think they’re awful and very hard to see what I want to know – whether I need a T-Shirt or an umbrella. I also know exactly where Manchester is on a flat map, but it’s a lot harder to tell when it’s sweeping about.

So. We’ll see. Hopefully I’ll get used to it. But I doubt the colour blindness issue can be resolved.
